Hello!

You've stumbled across my website, welcome! My name is Bay Phillips and I'm a software engineer who recently moved out to Denver but had been living in New York City for over 10 years. I've been programming since the early 2000's and haven't stopped since.

Who I am

I'm not all that interesting, I promise. I grew up in central New Jersey and attended The Lawrenceville School for high school where I got my first taste of programming. After that, I attended the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where I majored in Information Technology Web Sciences (a mouthful, I know) while also meeting lots of my lifelong friends.

I'm married to the love of my life, Melanie in the Spring of 2019 and had our daughter, Lily, in December 2024.

I'm an avid home cook, tiki enthusiast, video gamer and overall technology nerd.

Where I am right now

I joined ReflexAI in May 2025 as its Head of Product Engineering! I'm super fortunate to work alongside an incredible group of people across the globe delivering human-driven training and QA simulations.
